Brookline Police

To date we've had the cops call over to our house twice at night when we've been having parties. The first was about a week about when the cops pulled up outside and shouted from the street to our balcony asking was that our Red Volkswagen Golf GTI. It belongs to Mike, an ex-officio member of the 45 Saint Paul Street crew. We thought we were going to be in shit with the local police because there was loads of us outside partying at all hours of the morning. Mike's car has quite a few modifications including a radar to detect speed cameras. The cop just said that the GPS was on show and that he should really put it away in the glove-box so it doesn't get broken into.
Very sound.

The other incident was tonight, when again people were out on the balcony when two separate Brookline Squad Cars pulled up outside. Everyone kind of panicked for a minute, ran inside, hid the booze and dashed for the bedrooms. The bell rang and the cops came up the stairs, so I went out and spoke to them. Both of them were very nice and just told us to get off the balcony and stop making noise as they've had "a few" complaints. Are our neighbours actually too scared of us to approach us ourselves?

Our moments to date of dealing with the American Police have only been pleasant. Maybe they're all as cool as Officer Slater and Officer Michaels in Superbad around here.

I start work at 12 noon, lets hope it goes well.
