Summer Vacation in Providence

In some states in the US, they have an incentive to return used plastic and glass bottles to where you bought them for 5c a pop. On Saint Paul Street every couple of days there is an old lady that comes down and goes through everyone's recycling and takes our bottles away.

Bartlett Street

The lads new gaff is 1634 Commonwealth Avenue. It's a 2-bed apartment about a 25 minute walk from 45 Saint Paul Street.

Yesterday on my own I went to Providence, Rhode Island. A short 40 minute journey south of Boston from South Station via Amtrak.

The Senate

The House of Representatives

State House Library

Rhode Island Irish Famine Memorial

I think Verse had their last show here.

I went to the Polar Bear Club, Moving Mountains, Lemuria and Living With Lions that night in Club Hell on Richmond Street. The club was exactly like the old Eamonn Dorans, but wider.

I like Providence
